How the team came to be
From the first stage to today: the teams along the way and where we started.
One dot that became many
The team's first name was DOT, a single point, chosen on the day a team name was due and nobody had a better idea. Once the team truly worked together it became DOTS: big things take many people, each person is a dot, and the big picture appears when the dots connect.
When the team set its course on innovation and technology, an X was added: DOTSX. The first team's first success was an honourable mention at ThaiHealth's Prime Minister's Award for Health Promotion Innovation 2023, in the general-public health innovation category.
The fire passes to a second team
The five who took over from the first team carried the work to ThaiHealth's Health Tech X2 and came back with funding, backed by the Design and Digital Innovation (DDI) programme at Assumption University. The team ran several projects at once. On the whiteboard that day: Ideas, Plan, Team, Action, Results, and the plan for Somchai, which later became its own team within the group. Then each went their own way.
From a garage to a company
The third point came after graduation, when DOTSX was founded for real. The work was built in an old garage of a house in Chanthaburi. No office, no investors, only work that had to hold up in the real world.
From that garage the work was developed until it ran for real at Wangmai Health Promoting Hospital, and DOTSX's other brands followed.
The people who believed first
Every project of ours had someone who believed in it before it worked. Their names, recorded here with gratitude.
